lesu analyzes webpages and gives feedback on their usability. You can enter a URL of a webpage you want to test, or pick a random site from its database.

lesu is part of a student project, it's not ready for production use. As a result, there will be bugs and errors.

Professional Usability and User Experience engineering usually focuses on human computer interaction, including semantics of texts or images, emotions and problem solving. Those things can only be investigated with the help of human participants and under supervision of human experts.

There are many basic things however — as usability experts keep pointing out in their reviews — that do not need a professional usability test with human participants: some general design decisions have an impact on the usability of a webpage. Based on the experts' knowledge, it is lesus goal to check if webpages get those general design decisions right. See About lesu for more information.
